A pesar de que la canción fue lanzada hace casi 1 año y es el tercer sencillo del álbum de un dúo sueco desconocido para el gran público más allá de sus fronteras, fue gracias al famoso programa de la MTV "Jersey Shore" que el tema se fue popularizando, así como incluido en un juego de la saga para consolas "Need for speed"; Rolling Stone la valoró como la 35ª canción mejor del 2012, así como ha sido usada en varios países para diferentes campañas/programas de tv, etc...

La canción sigue subiendo en USA, donde aún no ha tocado techo después de un largo recorrido de semanas, esta semana alcanza su posición más elevada hasta el momento #17, en varios países europeos ha sido top 5 y en otros tantos top 10. Con unas ventas mundiales de casi 1 millón de copias vendidas y por su mezcla de pop, dance y electrónica, la aupamos esta semana como número 1 de Hit Me!!!, una apuesta que sin duda creo que engancha y para el gym viene que ni pintada.

La canción está siendo un éxito viral tal como "Harlem shake" pero con más fondo, y con más ventas, sobre todo en los países anglosajones. Ha alcanzado el número 1 en los principales mercados, más de 15 números 1 avalan su éxito, y no sólo como canción si no el vídeo también ha sido todo un éxito, aunque no es su primer éxito (el cual fue "Same love"), si es el más internacional de ellos. Poco queda por decir de Pablo Alborán que no sepa la gente a nivel popular en España, puesto que se ha convertido en uno de los pocos fenómenos musicales de los últimos años debido a la escasez de apuestas en el panorama musical, debido a la crisis a todos los niveles. Y en medio de este desalentador panorama, surge Pablo Alborán de poco a más llegando a eclipsar todo el panorama nacional, y posteriormente debido a una colaboración con una artista portuguesa "Carminho", seduce también al país vecino. Canciones como "Solamente tú", "Te he echado de menos" o "Perdóname" ya han quedado grabadas en la memoria de la historia musical de nuestro país. En este segundo cd "Tanto", nombre también del primer sencillo ha logrado superarse y quitarse la espina de ese difícil reto que es un segundo cd de estudio que confirmase o no ese éxito, y por ahora parece ser que lo ha logrado ya con este su segundo single que ya conocemos, y que ya hace aupar su álbum a más de 280.000 copias vendidas en nuestro país. Guste o no, Pablo Alborán a día de hoy es un seguro de éxito.

A esta canción le costo arrancar en las listas de ventas, después de varias semanas fue escalando posiciones en varios charts internacionales, y finalmente ha tenido un moderado éxito que hemos querido reflejar en esta lista; lo que si parece que Christina Aguilera no tiene éxito con sus propias creaciones y sin embargo ya van 3 éxitos internacionales con varias colaboraciones en álbums de otros artistas, como es el caso; y lo que si hace es reafirmar el éxito de Pitbull que parece no haber sido éxito de un día y a día de hoy sigue en la cresta de la ola. Por cuánto tiempo más??? Seguiremos hablando de Pitbull dentro de unos meses, años???

En casi todos los charts ha sido top10 o top5, y va camino de los 2 millones de copias a nivel mundial, sin embargo por ahora no hemos visto ningún número 1 en ninguno de ellos, todavía esta a tiempo que en muchos charts aún está arrancando.
Por cierto, imagino que ya lo sabrán, pero para los que no lo sepan, la canción contiene samples de la canción "Take on me" de A-Ha.
